I like every one of his covers. Why?
Unlike that lazy
Weezer Africa cover.
He puts some work into rearranging them. A lot of work.

The only cover of Africa I’m willing to acknowledge is Leo’s

I love how he went from “I’m so scared” to “That’s so cool” with just a google search

I forgot how bad the original song is. This is actually listenable.

I had a roommate a few years ago who was the typical douchey short “tough” guy. Never much cared for him, just a jersey-shore sorta asshole who was better than everyone else type of guy . Somehow we found ourselves walking together one morning (I was headed to work and he was wanting to hit on one of my coworkers, if memory serves) and this fox had been scampering down the street ahead of us. It turned a corner and just as we got to it, the fox started raising all kinds of hell at us. Buddy jumps about three feet in the air, grabs my arm, and cowers behind me, knees cartoonishly smacking together he’s shaking that bad. He’s pretty well bawling when he asks what the noise is, and I’m laughing my ass off. I tell him it’s just the fox, he says no way. I shrug him off and keep walking, he turns and starts sprinting in the opposite direction, back home.
I still laugh every time I think about that. He denied it ever happened any time I brought it up in public.

Not a fan of his signing, but I would listen to his cover 100 times because it’s unique.
I’m willing to bet they just cranked that out in a day or two at home with zero imagination and very little effort. Which is why it’s note for note, and the mix leaves some to be desired.
What sucks is they have to do it live. Nothing worse than seeing members of rock band pretend to play keyboards and sing while playing to a 15 track backing track.
Not embedding because it’s shit.
